TECHNICAL DATA SHEET – Art. 1332 C ISOLA MODULARE A 2 (65 or 90 Lt.)
The Isola Ecologica is composed of 2 modular units with a metal base (5 mm thick) with dimensions of 37.5×48 cm, and a lid with a slanted reduced slot measuring 23×8 cm.
Each module can be equipped with either 65-liter or 90-liter containers. These containers have a truncated rectangular conical base, and the top measures 30×45 cm. They are made from rotationally molded polyethylene, which offers excellent resistance to impacts, aging, and color fading.
The lids are constructed from thermoformed ABS and painted with top-quality two-component paints. The metal bases are treated with cataphoresis and then epoxy powder-coated. For outdoor use, bases can be hot-dip galvanized upon request. The bases are connected by a metal joint measuring 21×6 cm, 5 mm thick.
The ecological island is designed with metal terminal wings at both ends, 5 mm thick, adding weight and providing a visually appealing look. While it is possible to secure the island to the ground, it is not necessary due to its stability.
